What is In and Out Moves?
In and Out Moves is a marketplace for independent moving services, allowing the consumer to locate and compare professional movers in Indianapolis, Indiana. In and Out Moves provides the consumer access to licensed and insured movers in one place so they can make an informed choice about who they wish to use as their mover, without contacting several different moving companies.
Do you provide moving services?
In and Out Moves does not directly perform moves. We aid customers in finding the right professional movers operating in Indianapolis and its neighbouring communities so that customers can select the mover they feel will best meet their needs.
Are the moving companies listed on your platform licensed and insured?
Yes, all of the movers listed on our platform are required to have appropriate licensing and insurance in accordance with state and federal regulations. For example, the moving companies listed on our Platform must hold current USDOT registration for interstate moving in accordance with federal regulations (if applicable). In addition to the licensing requirements, all moving companies on our Platform are also required to maintain current general liability insurance to protect the customer’s property during the move.
Which areas do you provide services to?
We provide services to Indianapolis, Indiana, as well as cities in and around Indianapolis, Indiana such as Carmel, Fishers, Greenwood, Noblesville, Zionsville, and Avon. Some of the movers on our platform also provide long distance and interstate moving services within the state of Indiana and other states.
How much does it cost to use In and Out Moves?
Moving quotes are provided directly from the moving companies themselves; In and Out Moves does not provide these. Some movers will do in-home estimates, but many provide only virtual or phone quotes. Be sure you have confirmed everything included in your quote prior to booking.
Can I find movers for long-distance/international relocations?
Sure! There are many movers on our platform that specialize in long-distance and interstate moves. Be sure to verify USDOT certifications, insurance, delivery timelines, and valuation options with the company that provides your interstate move.
Do movers provide packing services?
Packing services vary from mover to mover. Some will provide full packing or partial packing, while others will only provide packing materials as an add-on. Review the details of your quote to avoid unexpected extra costs.
Who do I go to if something gets broken during my move?
Any claims for damages/losses during your move must be made directly through the moving company that performed your move. Information regarding the mover’s insurance and valuation coverage will be explained in the contract. We strongly encourage you to carefully review those terms before the day of your move.
Can moving companies apply to be on your platform?
Absolutely. Moving companies that meet In and Out Moves’ minimum standards of licensing, insurance, and professionalism can apply to join the In and Out Moves platform. We want to provide our customers with a trustworthy marketplace for all of their needs in the Indianapolis area.
